How to Protect Your Windshield

Here are some tips to help prolong the life of your windshield:

1)  Parking in sunlight for extended periods of time.
2)  Clean and properly maintained windshield wipers.  Dirty wipers will damage your windshield - especially in dusty areas
3)  Ammonia - Ammonia based cleaners can damage the tint on your windshield.   Use a wipe of alcohol or vinegar weekly, preferably with microfiber or cotton towels.
4) Slamming your car door - Vibrations from slammed doors can worsen existing cracks or chips.
